Team Camps and Predictions

The summer months are here and that means a lot of basketball. There is a ton of travel basketball going on, but that came to a halt during the month of June as players went back to their high school teams for the June team camps before entering the two-week dead period. I had the luxury of attending a few team camps including the BCAT Hoopfest which was a live evaluation period this year. This year was the first year of the June evaluation period for girls basketball and I thought it turned out to be a great weekend of basketball with over 60 coaches attending this year’s BCAT Hoopfest. Outside of the BCAT Hoopfest, I was also able to attend the MTSU team camp which included over 100 high school programs. This will be a recap of what I expect heading into the upcoming high school season based off of what I saw at these camps.
