Before the 2019-2020 Tennessee high school basketball season began, I predicted that Class AAA would be wide open for anyone to take. It appears this prediction may ring true by March, as the top ranked team in the Class AAA poll has been beaten the past two weeks - Bradley Central in Week 1 and Farragut in Week 2. Bearden has now taken the top spot in Class AAA, but will be challenged this week, with a big match-up against the defending state champions Bradley Central. Heritage secured a statement victory this week also, knocking off perennial powerhouse Maryville, which gained them entry into the top 10. The Class A and AA polls seem to be holding steady, as Greenfield and Loretto stand atop the Single A poll while Macon Co. and Westmoreland are at the top in Class AA, both for the second week in a row. Division II-A and Divsion II-AA had minimal movement this week as well. Lakeway Christian and Ensworth continue to hold their top spots, while Brentwood Academy moved up to #2 in the AA poll.
